Puerto Rico - An Island in the Sun

A few of our favorite of the photos taken from our
sunny wedding week in Puerto Rico.
Enjoy!

This was taken from our private terrace looking out at the lagoon.

Another shot of the lagoon.

One of the two local beaches within a 2 minute walk
from our condo.

The second beach wasn't much of a beach actually, just
a pretty place to watch the waves crash.

We woke up early one morning to look for the
perfect spot to get married.

We met a crab on our early morning adventure!

Later that afternoon we took a stroll up the coast.

The weather and water were beautiful!

An old sea wall...

We weren't sure how this man got down there...

But we found his secret!

And we knew that this would be our spot!

We spent the afternoon playing on the rocks
and we were soaked by the end!

We woke up early the next morning and made our way back to the beach only to find there wasn't much of one to be had... High tide had taken over and there was only about 10 feet of beach for us to get married on. It was a very relaxed ceremony, we laughed, played in the water, and had a ton of fun.

MAN and WIFE!

With the new MIL

Champagne!

Cheese!

Since my feet were buried in the sand

I though it would be a good idea for Christian
to take off his chucks too!

And so he did...

And while I was taking a photo of him looking
oh so suave

A GIANT wave came and washed
one of his chucks away!!!!

We searched and searched for Cinderella's missing shoe

Literally running up and down the beach for 10 minutes

Until it finally washed ashore!

Needless to say, we kept our shoes on for
the rest of the morning.

As you might have noticed...

But the fun didn't stop there...

I spied a coconut!

And like a trooper, he runs to get it for his bride.

Leaving his footprints in the sand along the way...

The wind up..

The launch...

A hole-in-one!

It's GOOD!

And so are we.

After a long nap we spent that afternoon on the beach.

On the way home...
